Family Information Evenings
The idea behind these events is to inform the families and friends of those with MND of the implications of the diagnosis. Since family may not necessarily live in the home area of the person with MND our information evenings are held at various venues across Scotland and anyone can attend. Professionals are also welcome to attend these events by prior notification.
Family Information Evenings for the family and friends of people with MND are yet to be scheduled for 2008. Anyone wishing to find out more about this service should contact our Education Officer, Bob Bestow at Equipment Loan
Our specialist equipment loan service helps when health and social care services cannot quickly meet the equipment needs of people with MND. The equipment store distributes throughout Scotland. |

Care and Support
The Association funds a care team of 6 professionals serving people with MND across Scotland. Members of the care team visit newly diagnosed patients to offer support and assess their needs. The care team also liaise with health and social care professionals to ensure best possible care for the MND community in Scotland..

Small Grants
The small grants scheme allows people with MND to apply for up to £500. Applications will be assessed and accepted or refused.
