Care service
The Association funds a Care Team which serves the whole of Scotland.
Equipment loan
Our specialist equipment loan service helps when health and social care services cannot quickly meet the equipment needs of people with MND.
Family information
The Association hosts Family Information Evenings to help inform the families and friends of those with MND of the implications of the diagnosis.
Lang Break caravan
Rent our specially adapted holiday caravan at Craigtoun Meadows Holiday Park near St Andrews.
Counselling
Life has changed. How do you feel? Share your feelings confidentially with a supportive professional.
Befriending Service
Based in Tayside and Fife, the project recruits volunteer befrienders to provide emotional and practical support to people affected by MND.
The Scottish Motor Neurone Disease Association is a registered charity. All of our services are free to people living in Scotland with MND and their families. Often, we are the only source of support.
Our services and support will cost more than £700,000 this year, meaning we need to raise almost £13,500 every week.
We receive limited financial support form the NHS or government.
